A forager by heart, Christine loves nothing better than wandering the hedgerows looking for berries and plants to turn into jams, chutneys, alcohol, crafts and simple remedies. Fascinated by the folklore and superstition connected with wild plants, Christine writes monthly articles for two parish magazines to keep these old ways alive. A keen baker, she really looks forward to bringing her own spin into the Tuppenny Barn shop using foraged and unusual ingredients for cakes, bakes and makes.

Tuppenny Barn is a member of the Organic Growers Alliance which is a network of growers, farmers and horticulturalists. The OGA is a peer-to-peer support network run by growers for growers. As well, the OGA is a place to exchange information and learn and it represents its members.
