Our sustainable circular barn and grounds offer a truly unique experience for a range of events

The iconic circular barn at the heart of Tuppenny Barn is available for private hire and makes an inspiring setting for a range of events including:

The interior space can fit up to 120 people (less if the centre is set up in theatre style or with tables and chairs) and works equally well for a small and intimate gathering.

Wakes

Surrounded by flower beds and a picturesque wildlife pond, Tuppenny Barn is a beautiful venue for a post-funeral gathering.

At Tuppenny Barn we host wakes for people who would like a personal service in a calm and peaceful environment. We can offer catering for these events prepared and served by some of our amazing team of volunteers.

Corporate away days

Tuppenny Barn is a popular venue for corporate away days, the circular barn providing an inspiring and practical space for meetings and workshops. Team-building tasks and activities can also be arranged for outdoors on the field. We can work with you to arrange a programme for the day including catering.

I recently held the wake for my husband at Tuppenny Barn. My family and I chose this unique and special place as it was the perfect venue for the celebration of his life. The staff and volunteers prepared a fantastic lunch, followed by homemade cakes and tea for 80 quests and the atmosphere, in this beautiful natural building, was perfect. Every one who came said it was a delightful place and also enjoyed looking around the gardens, where the ingredients for their lunch was grown! The whole event went very smoothly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend Tuppenny Barn as a venue for any occasion.

members campaigning for healthy, humane and sustainable
food, farming and land use.

Tuppenny Barn is a member of the Organic Growers Alliance which is a network of growers, farmers and horticulturalists. The OGA is a peer-to-peer support network run by growers for growers. As well, the OGA is a place to exchange information and learn and it represents its members.
