Hannah Griffiths

Hannah has been gardening since she was 4 years old and sowed her first radishes! She has fond memories of picking all sorts of fruit and veg in the family garden and learning about plants and wildlife from her parents. This love of the outdoors led to work in landscape design, liaising with clients and redesigning public spaces. Hannah then trained as a primary school teacher, and after many years inside the classroom, decided that sharing her love of gardening and nature outside, was what gave her most joy. She began volunteering at Tuppenny Barn with the education team and saw how much wonder and delight the children experience during their visits. Hannah was thrilled to join the staff formally in 2026. She works on the gardening team, looking after the ‘outdoor classroom’ and growing organic food to harvest with the cropping team. She loves being part of a community that provides access to garden and nature based learning in such a beautiful setting.
